A story about the last snowfall

Chapter 1:

I could hear the sound of my bestfriend breathing next to me. A sound I like, because it reminds me of a little cute kitten laying in her deepest sleep.
I looked out off the bus-window. It was November, but no snow , yet.

"Mhm m m. Clara , where are we?"
" That's not important, Tiffany, what matter is that we are together."

Here we sat, two best friends, hand in hand, on our way to the journey of our lifetime. A journey across the country. I will never forget the day Tiffany climbed up and passed through my bedroom window. Her face - a big smile.
"Pack your bags!No questions! I have talked to your mom. here's a list of things you need to bring! Meet me outside in half an hour!"

I looked at the list she gave me and started reading it.

·Favourite pair of blue jeans, black jeans , tights and that dark blue Levis pants
·White hoodie, 3 warm sweathers , that one your grandma gave you and the pink   polo skirt
·Makeup , toothbrush, just grab your toiletry
· socks, trousers
·white Nikes
·you have to wear that cute cardigan, white top with blonds, grey sweatpants, Timberlands and your winter jacket.
·bring your phone, carger, headphones, book, diary, wallet.
 ·DO NOT FORGET YOUR MEDICATION!!
· say bye to your mum and go see your grandma, she will give you some extra cash.

I checked my clock. "Have to hurry!!" I ran around in the house to find all the stuff that Tiff had written on the list. It took about some 15 minutes. I said goodbye to my mum and walked over to my grandma's house.
"Hello! Who's there?" She shouted.
"It's just me. Tiff told me to come by and pick up something...?"

She smiled and walked slowly over to her book case.
" After your grandpa died I found some stuff on the inside of his favourite book. And when Tiffany came over and told me about her surprise,  I knew this was something you would have more use for than I"

She turned around and told me to close my eyes.
"You can open them now"
Around my neck lied a golden necklace. The necklace had the shape of a tiny compass I had never seen something like it before.

" You will also need this" She gave me a little box. "Dont open it now. You have to go. Goodbye sweeatheart."

That was how it started.

Me, myself & I

It was a stormy night, my mom and my dad were on their way to the hospital. It was time to get out in the wide world. I don`t remember anything from this, but my parents do and they have told me many stories about that evening.

I grew up in a happy family in a huge brown house at the country. Ever since I was a little kid my favorite time of the year has been winter. I always light up when I see the first snow falling down from the sky and touches the frosen ground.

As you may figure out, I am from Norway, the country of fjords and mountains.
In Norway the teenagers are very wimpy , scared of being different. I have to admit I am one of those.

I got brown hair and blue eyes and a normal name among girls here in Norway. My name is Thea. Thea is greek and means " present from God". I was actually supposed to be named Sofie. Sadly my parents chose Thea...

I have always been very independent. From I started in the kindergarden I chose my own clothes every day. Even at winter times I prefered wearing pretty, pink skirts instead of jeans or thigths.

But I have always had a type of boy side too. From I was a kid I have been interested in the same things as my dad and my brother. Today I will still join them on things like changing tyres on the car and going to the woods and chop.

I try my best to be 100% myself because I think that is a very importan thing nowadays. Even if it is pretty scary at times.

To my seven year old self

If i met my seven year old self today, What wold i tell her, what would I say? Would i warn her of the future, of the bad things yet to com...
